CIRCUIT BENDING - koncert og workshop

(København) BEND-ORAMA koncert: Elektronisk legetøj og bastardinstrumenter

lege1_web1.jpgDer bliver spillet på plastikkeyboards, farvestrålende rytmebokse og et utal af andet batteridrevet børnelegetøj, når AUX og LAB inviterer til BEND-ORAMA koncert i PLEX Musikteater søndag den 6. maj kl. 20. Men legetøjet er ikke til at genkende – i hvert fald ikke på lyden.

I dagene op til koncerten har 20 lydentusiaster og teknikfreaks circuit bended legetøjet, dvs. trukket nye kredsløb og modificeret legetøjet til underfundige, støjende, skrattende og hvinende instrumenter.

Både koncert og workshop dirigeres af kunstnerne Sarah Washington og Knut Aufermann, der er i den absolutte verdenselite hvad angår circuit bending.
Gå ikke glip af muligheden for at opleve en unik koncert for circuit bendede bastardinstrumenter!

Ardour - Linux and OSX freeware multi-track editor – a UNIX-version of protools.

Audacity - cross-platform open source multi-track sound editor

Hyperupic - image to sound translation for OSX

IXI - somewhere in between real-time processing and soundtoys

Pure data (or Pd) – cross-platform open source modular program in the max-family

Pd libraries:

Gem - GEM (Graphical Environment for Mulitmedia) is a library for working with real-time 3D graphics

Pmpd - excellent library for physical modelling

Soundhack - Tom Erbe’s classic FFT based sound-editor (OSX)

Eyesweb - excellent (windows only) modular program for real-time video processing and analysing.

Processing - cross platform tool for writing digital multimedia application
